Blood and Bones

We had a few friends over tonight, so I tried to get into the Halloween spirit---I made blood red hot chocolate and homemade marshmallow bones. mmmm...

that sounds tasty! You'll have to let me know how you made it. The bones and the red hot chocolate.

ok, so you have so many posts since I last looked.
1) I am not surprised by your cute blood and bones. Very cute. Love it.
2) Very cute pictures of the family and the girls. Ruby makes a very cute Bee.

3)A couple years ago I wanted a high tech camera too. I ended getting something a little more affordable at the time and I am happy with what I have for not. Nikon is a good camera but if you want something good but cheaper for now I recommend a cannon power shot ( there are a few different kinds). Hands down. I did a lot of research and that gives you a good bang for your buck and almost as many shooting modes.

4) So as you know I like to try and stay healthy myself. I think it is great when someone wants to have a healthy life style but remember everyones healthy state is different. I've told you before you are beautiful and don't forget that, size does not change that.
A) I find it is easier to maintain weight if you focus on balance rather than calorie counting. If you constantly have to count, than you have to focus on restriction. Who likes restriction, I certainly don't.
B) I've learned that the body responds better to variety than repetition. Switch up your routine when you can and it doesn't have to be every day. This will keep you from getting bored and stopping.
c) Don't watch the scale that will only keep you focusing on size and not the life style change.

I hope this helps you on your quest.
D) Last but not least. I have this quote posted on my frig and it really helps me.
"A mother who radiates self-love and self-acceptance actually vaccinates her daughter against low self-esteem"

Miss you much..........Karlene

Also, about my digital scrapbooking, I use Photoshop. And you can get free digital scrapbooking products to download off the internet. My favorite site is:
http://www.digiscrapdepot.com/freebies/
They do look good when they're printed, except it's expensive, because they're 12x12 prints. I get them printed at Costco for $3 each when I have the money to do so (which is hardly ever). I have about 70 pages that aren't printed. ha ha. :)
If you ever really want to get into digi scrapping, I'd be happy to show you or tell you more about it sometime.
